Our Chairman and Managing Director Fareed Khan, is a visionary in eco-sustainable tourism and is one of the most prolific representatives urging the society and in turn, the islands to go green. A person who is aware of the existing socio-economic conditions, who understands the problems of each islander, who knows the geographical limitations and transport hassles of the island and one who fights for the growth of Lakshadweep that is hindered by red tapes, he jumped into business after quitting the Government job he held. His vision and innovative ideas were almost immediately welcomed by his peers which led him to form a company which we today know as Whitesands Global Pvt. Ltd., an organization that develops prime beach properties in Lakshadweep, which at the same time aims to create world-class infrastructure for the natives of island as well.
At Whitesands, our main aim is to build incomparable beach properties and infrastructure all over Lakshadweep, in the bargain luring National and International tourists, but not at the cost of the environment. While we at Whitesands expect that this initiative will help enhance the existing tourism in many ways, it will also aid to bring in a fairly good amount as income to the land owners, guaranteeing jobs for them and for their generations to follow.
